During the International Netball Festival, we will have an Officials friendly game.
 
Festival Game Structure
(Subject to change - dependent on number of teams)
 
Match Day 1: teams will play a number shorts for grading - 2 x 10 minute halves (5-6 games)
 
Match Day 2: 4 x 10 minute quarters (3-4 games)

Match Day 3: 4 x 10 minute quarters - Semis and Finals will be 4 x 10 minute quarters.  There will be be an Officials friendly game 2 x 15 min halves.

Match Day 4: Finals Day. Awards Presentation will be held at the end of Match Day 4.

Payments
Your promptness with regards to deposit and subsequent payments is appreciated as we need to pay suppliers on your behalf. Our office will advise when payments are due.
 
Please note:
  • There is a $50.00 fee per person for any flight and/or itinerary changes once deposits are paid. Any additional flight costs will be charged
  • If the airline has a schedule change there will be no fee incurred
  • Independent return flights can be split out of the group. Flight costs are subject to cost at the time of booking. An additional fee of $50.00 per person and increase in flight cost if any.
  • If there are any name changes to flights within six weeks of the Festival commencement date, then the airline has a fee of AU$100.00-$150.00 per change.
Team Registration Form
Team Registration confirms all the details we have discussed in the process of putting your Itinerary together.  Please visit our Registration page to register your team/s.
 
Registration of Players plus Officials plus Order for Festival T-Shirts
Upon submission of your Team Registration Form, you will receive an email with a link to a Player Registration spreadsheet to complete. Here you will provide team names, divisions, players' and officials' names, dates of birth for players, shirt sizes and dietary requirements. Shirt sizes and dietary requirements are for travelling teams or if you would like to order shirts and attend our special functions, please advise and provide dietary requirements for your players and officials. This information is required by the first week in February.
 
Passport Names and Insurance
All players' names must match the names and date of birth on their passport/photo ID.
 
Please ensure that all passport names are correct for ticketing (if the name is spelt wrong on the ticket the Airlines will not let you fly). It's a great idea to obtain a photocopy of the passport or have the parents email you a copy of the traveller's passports to you, so you can check the spelling.  Entering the travellers' names on our Registration page correctly is very important.
 
Travel Insurance
Part of the tour package for Australians travelling in Australia  is Cover More's Travel Insurance form FOR DRIVER ONLY . This gives you nil excess for  car hire and covers many other things. Check if it is included in your tour or if your school/club has a cover like this already in place.
 
For NZ travellers, we suggest Kiwi Travel Cover. Click here for further information. Please send us a list of players' names and we will forward them to the insurer. The insurer will then provide policies to send to you for the school or club to sign. All travellers under the age of 18 must have the form signed by a parent.
 
Please fill out driver authority form for the hire vans and cars whilst on the Gold Coast. Please complete the the driver insurance form and return to us.
 
For locals attending the Festival, insurance is available for a cost of $100 per team (9 players). Please advise us if you would like this cover. (You may not need this cover if all players have private health insurance.)
 

Insurance Recommendation

Local teams are to make sure their clubs or private insurance will cover you in case of a major injury.

International Netball Festival Inc encourage all participants to review their own individual needs and circumstances and where appropriate, take out Private Health, Life and/or Income Protection Insurance. It is an individual's responsibility to ensure that he/she has adequate insurance cover for his/her needs.

 
Accommodation Configuration

Festival Program Information
All submissions for the program including team lists (players' names) must be submitted by no later than 14 days before the Festival commences.  Unfortunately, no late changes can be accepted after this date. However this will not affect the draw.
 
Team Act
Your group may like to start rehearsing their Team Act for the Festival Awards dinner on the final night. This is very entertaining evening. Coaches and supporters are welcome to do an act.
 
Festival Dinner Tickets
The number of tickets for the Festival Dinner is required by 14 days before the Festival commences. Please advise any specific dietary requirements in the Comments section of the Player or Official's registration. This evening is always popular, so be sure to advise numbers at your earliest convenience. 
 
Theme Park and Currumbin Wildlife and High Ropes Tickets
Final numbers of tickets for the theme parks must be supplied to Intersport Global by no later than 14 days before the Festival commences.  Extra tickets will have to be purchased from the parks after this date.
 
Draws
We will upload the Match Day 1 competition draws once they are finalised.  We will include any last minute details also at this time, to ensure that your players and officials get the most of the International Netball Festival.

Cancellation/Changes Policy
 
All cancellations must be made in writing.
 
The best option is to replace the person to avoid any loss.
 
If airline tickets have been issued, there will be a $50.00 fee per person for any flight and/or itinerary changes once deposits are paid. Any additional flight costs will be charged.
 
If the airline has a schedule change there will be no fee incurred.
 
Independent return flights can be split out of the group. Flight costs are subject to cost at the time of booking. An additional fee of $50.00 per person will be charged for arrangement of independent return flights.
 
The cancellation policy is based on your tour cost, less the below:
  • 14 weeks from travel - less 30% of tour cost paid per travelling person - subject to numbers that are reduced
  • 10 weeks from travel - less 50% of tour cost paid per travelling person
  • 6 weeks from travel - less 75% of tour cost paid per travelling person
  • 4 weeks from travel - sorry, no refunds
 
Legal Liability Insurance
International Netball Festival Inc has Legal Liability Insurance in case of an unfortunate case of negligence for AU$20,000,000.
