7 Day Singapore Cultural & History Tour
This tour has a strong focus on culture and history including an emphasis on World War II and the fall of Singapore where 15,000 Australian soldiers became POWS.

Day 1
Arrive in Singapore and clear immigration and customs. An English speaking guide will be there to welcome and assist the group with the coach transfer and check in at the Hotel. You have some free time to explore the beautiful city of Singapore.
Day 2
A cultural tour takes you on an exploration of the three main different cultures of vibrant multicultural Singapore. Visit Chinatown including the famous Thian Hock Kheng Temple. Followed by Little India, the heartland of the Indian communities - walk through the street to experience the pungent smell of spices and incenses and visit the oldest Hindu temple, Sri Mariamman Temple. Next stop is Kampong Glam where you will understand more about the Malay culture. Visit Arab Street here and view the magnificent Sultan Mosque. Stroll along the area to see the different shops selling traditional Arab-Muslim food and merchandise. Our great chance for a photo of the Merlion and then a visit to the Asian Civilizations Museum.
In the afternoon, board a river cruise and cruise along the historic Singapore river.
Day 3
We embark on a World War 2 tour this morning. The fall of Singapore occurred on 15 February 1942 when all allied troops were ordered to lay down their arms by Japanese forces. Visit the Battle Box, a famous historical bunker. Next a visit to the Changi Chapel & Musuem which is dedicated to all those who lived and died in Singapore. Changi Beach is next on the itinerary. During WWII, the beach was one of mass execution for the Sook Ching Operation, a purging of suspected anti Japanese Chinese civilians. Johore Battery was built by the British for the defence of Singapore. It is a must see. Last on the tour today is the Kranji War Memorial unveiled in 1957.
Day 4
Theme Park Day - Universal Studios tour.
In the evening, visit the Night Safari. This park is built for night visits. 40 hectares of lush secondary forest and tropical jungle. A subtle technique allows visitors to see 180 species of animals.
Day 5
Immerse yourself in the world of water at the NEWater Visitor Centre. Our virtual guide "Wave" will show you multimedia presentations and hands-on interactive games.
The Science Centre Singapore is next on the itinerary which is dedicated to the promotion of science and technology. Themed exhibition galleries with more than 1000 exhibits in areas such as energy, water, human body, chemistry, genome and optical illusion.
Lastly today we will visit the Singapore Discovery Centre which provides you the experience of the Singapore story. Cultures and traditions and working in harmony with different races.
Day 6
Enjoy a free morning followed by Sentosa Island in the afternoon. We commence with Mount Faber with a scenic cable car to the island. At Images of Singapore, you will embark on a journey to experience the colourful culture and vibrant heritage of Singapore. Followed by the Luge & Skyride. Our next visit is to Fort Siloso, the home of the nation's largest collection of World War II memorobilia.
The tour ends with a visit to Songs of the Sea, Singapore's show comprising dramatic effects, water jets, lasers, bursts of multi-sensory extravaganza to watch a world-class water show comprising dramatic effects, water jets, bursts of fire and foot-tapping music set in the sea.
